Arc’teryx Mens Thorium Hooded Jacket

Exceptionally versatile, hardwearing and warm, the Thorium Hoody from Arc’teryx was designed for use in alpine conditions and performs as a cold weather midlayer and as a standalone jacket. 

The Thorium streamlined fit means it layers easily under a hardshell in cold conditions. Lofty 750FP European grey goose down give incredible warmth for little weight, is durably resilient, and packs easily. The outer is updated with durable and subtly textured Arato nylon. This lightweight material withstands abrasion, packs down compactly and has a DWR finish to repel moisture. Arc’teryx Down Composite Mapping technology combines the goose down insulation with panels of Coreloft synthetic insulation in the hood, cuffs and under the arms, the areas prone to moisture. Down is used in the sleeves and around the body’s core, the key areas to keep warm in adverse conditions. The Thorium is equipped with a synthetically insulated Stormhood, two zippered pockets to secure small essentials, one chest pocket and two internal dump pockets.
