The Boy’s Kairala Jacket is a Reimatec kids’ ski jacket made from sustainable materials. All the seams are sealed on this children’s ski jacket to make sure it’s fully waterproof. The technical material is water- and windproof and breathable as well. Lined with smooth polyester, the design is easy to put on and feels comfortable when teamed with warm mid-layers.The powder skirt keeps snow at bay and can be un-zipped from the lining when not in use. The detachable and adjustable hood is safe because it comes off easily if caught on something. It also has a neck-protecting wind flap and visor. The piece is finished with a ski pass pocket on the sleeve and equipped with an adjustable hem and cuffs for a great fit.
Unlike most manufactures, Reima use the Martindale abrasion test on most of their fabrics to ensure the clothing is made to last through several kids. This includes hard ware and tear and frequent washing which presents a sustainable option. Another unique benefit to factor in is that Reima are one of the only brands that approve the waterproof rating after the garment has been washed and dried 10 times and not from new fabric like most others.
